Rebudgeting Rules
Training Grants have very specific budgeting rules, unlike common NIH research grants.A balance in stipends and/or fees means that a balance will need to be reported to the agency - even if the overall fund is in deficit.
The balance in stipends and/or fees cannot be used to cover the deficit in training related expenses (unless you receive prior approval from GMS/PO).
Childcare costs are generally restricted and cannot be re-budgeted without prior written approval from the NIH awarding IC.
