The CMG Training Program provides rigorous training for outstanding young researchers in the early years of their doctoral studies, who are interested in the molecular mechanisms of a diverse array of biological phenomena.
San Diego IRACDA, Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award, provides mentored training in post-doctoral research in biomedical sciences, teaching training at our partner institutions, and development of critical academic skills for diverse participants.
The MBTG supports interdisciplinary PhD students engaged in Molecular Biophysics Research and emphasizes cross-training opportunities in biochemical, computational, structural, and biophysical techniques.
The MSTP supports joint M.D./Ph.D. students by providing outstanding pre-clinical and clinical education at top research institutions including Scripps Research and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies.
The goal of the program is to produce medical and epidemiologic scientists who can conduct empiric, interdisciplinary research aimed at preventing cardiovascular diseases from a population-based perspective.
Our goal is to feature the success stories of exceptional training grants across campus, so please let us know if you'd like us to feature your work!
